Cedar High School is off to a great start this year!

Students have done an amazing job wearing their masks and following COVID-19 guidelines.  Our teachers and staff are “rock stars”, and a huge thank you goes out to them for working so hard to ensure that all students are learning and doing so in a clean and safe environment.

One of our seniors, Max Workman, was selected as a finalist for the National Merit Scholarship.  This is an incredible academic achievement and we want to tell him congratulations.

Our girls tennis team, coached by Tim Roelofs, just finished an excellent season with three girls qualifying for state.

Girls soccer, coached by Scott Kamachi, also just finished off a fantastic season making it to the 2nd round of state playoffs.

Football, coached by Josh Bennett, is preparing for state playoffs and currently is 4th in region and ranked in the top 8 in state.

Our cross country team, coached by Greg Harris and Robert Corry, is preparing for State which will be held at Cedar High School.  We encourage everyone to come and support cross country on October 21st at 5:00 at Cedar High School as we host the 1A, 2A and 4A state meet..

Longtime Coach Robert Corry is retiring this year after coaching 35 years.  We want to wish him the best and thank him for his countless hours and dedication to Cedar High School Cross Country & Track.

Boys golf, coached by Mason Christison, is another sport that had a great season.  For the first time in 17 years, the whole golf team qualified for state and individually Donovan Barnes advanced to the 2nd day of play.

Volleyball, coached by Nicole Anglin, is still in regular season play and we want to wish them luck as they advance to postseason play.  Volleyball was also awarded for having the overall highest team GPA in the State for 4A.  Impressive accomplishment and a huge congratulations goes out to them.

Our fine arts department will be holding their concerts and plays this year, and we want to encourage everyone to come and enjoy these great performances.
