AMVETS National Scholarships To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:

2021 UACD Auxiliary Scholarship This scholarship is open to any high school senior in Beaver, Garfield, Washington, Iron, or Kane County pursuing an agriculture or natural resource field.  This cash scholarship is so the  recipient can use it for books, rent, etc. $1,000 May 7, 2021 Applications are available at our bookcase outside the counseling office.
The PB & J Scholarship For students who have experienced personal challenges that may not have allowed them to perform well academically.

What is needed: Transcript and one letter of recommendation (two preferred).

The Explore More Scholarship The Explore More Scholarship is available to new incoming freshman students, resident and nonresident, and transfer students from community colleges who are starting their first semester at the University of Utah.

Applicants must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA on their most recent academic transcript and a strong background in mathematics, physics and chemistry. Participation in leadership and extracurricular activities is also a consideration.

Utah Farmworker Program The Purpose of the Utah Farmworker Program is to provide services to farmworkers and their families in an attempt to: Help achieve economic self-sufficiency, Contribute to the stabilization of the farmworkers’ continued employment in farm work, Acquire skills that permit them to upgrade their employment in agriculture or to progress to other employment outside of farm work, and Support the farmworker during job training.

To apply for this program, a farmworker must present the following, and complete an application with one of FTT’s case managers:


  • Valid Forms of Proof:Legal Permission To Work In The U.S.
  • U.S. Citizenship Legal Permanent Resident Status
  • Legal Temporary Resident Status Work Permit
  • H2-A Visa Social Security Number The Applicant’s Original, Valid, Signed Social Security Card
  • All Income for Everyone in the Household for the 24 Months Before Applying

Army ROTC Scholarships Enables students to enroll in elective leadership and military courses in addition to their required courses. Scholarships are awarded based on a student’s merit and grades, not financial need. They also provide monthly living allowances for each school year. 

Scholarships consist of:

  • Two, three, and four-year options based on the time remaining to complete a degree
  • Full-tuition scholarships
  • Option for room and board in place of tuition
  • Additional allowances for books and fees
  • A score of 74 on the Armed Forces Qualification Test (AFQT), a composite score of 22 on the American College Test (ACT) or a combined score of 1000 in Math and Evidence-Based Reading on the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
  • Meet the admission requirements of an NROTC – affiliated college or university of choice.

Basic Eligibility requirements for NROTC Scholarship Applicants:

  • Be a U.S. Citizen
  • Be 17 years of age by 1 September of the first year of college
  • Be a high school graduate or pass an equivalent certificate
  • Be physically qualified and be with height-weight standards
  • Personally exemplify and display the following:
  • Character- Morally qualified and no record of military or civil offenses.

Stech Scholarships

Southwest Tech — Utah Higher Education Assistance Authority Scholarship This scholarship is needs-based. The number of scholarships awarded will depend on the number of qualified applicants and the amount of scholarship money available. Varies – typically under $500 none There is no formal application.
